Sé àláàfíà ni? (How are you?) I pray this day is finding you well. Summer is officially here as of the Summer Solstice on June 21st and the weather is certainly showing it here in New York. I'm gearing up for a few short trips to enjoy some sun and surf and I hope you're finding ways to have fun in the heat.

Summer is a time for vacations, reading, reflecting and gearing up for the harvest of the fall. Our hearts tend to be open and ready for pleasurable and enjoyment and we tend to be open to new and exciting experiences. I invite you to have an experience with me this weekend at the Conference on Health, Consciousness and Spirituality to be held at the United Nations this Saturday.

The morning session – which is FREE of charge  will feature interfaith prayer, meditation, a talk from Queen Mother Dr. Delois Blakely, the Community Mayor of Harlem, shamanic drumming and more. The afternoon session will feature a talk and workshop with renowned author and mystical scholar Andrew Harvey; there is a fee for the afternoon, but I'm sure it will be well worth it. Also in attendance will be Iya Ayoka Quinones, author of the new book I Hear Olofi’s Song.

It’s sure to be a special and enlightening time and I hope some of you will join me – I’d love to see familiar faces and encounter new ones!

Have a fantastic day!
